CROSSOVER PRESENT NEW BALANCE GREY DAY POP-UP “MAKE IT GREY”

“Grey Day” has come and gone but its significance will always remain with us. Grey is a color that is not only classic and timeless, it is also a color easily worn by anyone. So when Crossover held an event to celebrate “Grey Day” for 2022, streetwear enthusiasts and sneakerheads alike were excited and came united in grey, obviously.

A showcase of New Balance models was displayed with new colorways of the 327, XC-72 and 57/40 revealed in conjunction with “Grey Day”. Besides new footwear, there were also a bunch of merchandise for sale and not to mention the silkscreen workshops conducted by Janggutbear and Adrian Nunis. Tees from the workshops were some of the highlights along with stickers and pins all with the signature ‘Mr. N’ design that was created just for “Grey Day.

Besides that, there was also refreshment in the form of coffee by Coffeboyclub. Their cups were adorned with the text ‘Make it Grey’ and the graphic of a ‘N’ on the surface of a coffee drink. Not only that, guests were treated with an exclusive gift in the form of New Balance totebags that have been given the tie-dyed treatment with every purchase of a New Balance purchase and the tie-dyed treatment was done by none other than Bryzoid.

If you are wondering what’s the significance of “Grey Day”, it has always been associated with some of their popular models such as the 990, 996, 574 and many more legendary New Balance models. Touted as a color that symbolizes neutrality, calmness and balance, it is also seen a freedom of expression. Sneakerheads have been saying for years that no one makes grey sneakers as well as New Balance. We couldn’t agree more.
