Backtracking The Quick Tempo As Power Pioneer

Co-designed by Tobie Hatfield, the brain behind Nike’s Free technology program that aims to give runners the feeling of barefoot running, Air Presto went through years of developing progress before it finally debuted in the year 2000. The creation were set to be visionary and futuristic by featuring it’s stretched, sock-like upper.

Air Presto were introduced as the t-shirt for your foot, followed with its unisex t-shirt sizing, measuring from XXS to XXL. Despite of its isolating difference with the other existing models in the market, Presto’s form fitting sock upper gave enough room for the toes and high flexibility in movement making it a breakthrough model of its time.

The print graphic decoration on its mesh upper, a treatment widely seen now, was first pioneered by Air Presto, with lightning-printed design. Upon its very original release, Air Presto had 13 different colorways complete with a unique nickname and character for each designated color. In Japan, the emergence of Air Presto is deeply cultured as it was released together with a very limited DVD of renowned DJs and graffiti artists collaboration work and is known as an extremely valuable item in the industry.
