Crossover x Nothing Phone (2) Launch

“Come to the bright side.”

Last year, Nothing introduced their very first smartphone to the world—the Phone (1).

Now once again, they’ve reserved the month of July to introduce their successor, the Phone (2) to the world, presentedby Crossover. To help present the Phone (2) to the world, we held two back-to-back events, starting with an officiallaunch and reveal at Brick Studio by Metal Bees on 14 July.

Present at the event was Akis, co-founder of Nothing alongside Wing, CEO of YTL Communications’ Yes 5G.

Powered by the exclusively designed Nothing OS 2.0, the new Phone (2) comes with a 50 MP dual rear camera + 32MP front camera; a 6.7” flexible LTPO OLED display and Snapdragon® 8+ Gen 1 processor to keep things up andrunning fast. But perhaps the most captivating feature set introduced with the Phone (1) last year and improved in thecurrent iteration is the Glyph Interface unique to Nothing.

The LEDs at the back of the phone light up and can function in a variety of ways, from reacting to notifications, workingas a music visualizer to acting as a volume and sound indicator. While the phone from a hardware point of view packsa punch, the Glyph Interface also works in the phone’s favour by setting it apart in terms of looks whilst delivering afunctional experience altogether. For a list of all functions tied to the Glyph Interface, we recommend reading officialdocumentation from Nothing.

The following day at Crossover Mid Valley, the Phone (2) was officially up for grabs on a first-come-first-serve basis, inlimited quantities embedded with the labelling of Edition 001 to 100. The first 100 customers who purchased the Phone(2) also walked away with exclusive Nothing merch. To no one’s surprise, the phone sold out in a matter of hours. Wewere also delighted to have hosted Akis as a special guest during the event.

The Nothing Phone (2) is available now from Yes 5G official stores and select retailers nationwide.
